Ian Suggett XJS driver
Ian has provided JAGRACING with an update on his future racing plans and other related activities, following a nasty smash at Silverstone in 2005.
The DNF at Silverstone last year was due to me collecting someone's oil catch tank at luffield and smashing the car to pieces on one of the few bits of exposed concrete at silverstone. It did hurt and not just the pride! Before that I qualified 15 seconds a lap faster than the previous year!
I have rebuilt a new car and intend to get out sometime this year as it is a swift cat.
I have been engaged in getting Hotpaint.co.uk off the ground to provide a custom car and bike sprayshop in Birmingham.
We also do race car and graphics and will be showing at the Max power show soon.
I have also been developing performance and handling improvement parts for XJ40 X300 and XJS.
Racing has come second much to my regret but I will get out this year sometime! I also have to take my Cobra on a long distance endurance rally around Sardinia in September with the guild of motor endurance so things are always cooking over here.

Here is a pic of the old race car at Rockingham.
